Made from a Dutch "Worteldoek", or Carrot Cloth. The pasiely design was originally taken from the designs on the cloths used by Dutch farmers, which they would take into the fields to harvest. Later on, the patterns were used to decorate these kashmir and cotton shawls, which would protect the walls behind coats, or to adorn pianos and mantels.

Accented with leather sleeves, and lined with a hand-quilted beetroot red sheet, with cotton-bamboo batting.
